LAADS User Working Group

A User Working Group (UWG) is a panel of experts in specific knowledge domains who meet periodically to provide impartial feedback and suggestions that relate to the data products, tools and services portfolios offered by each discipline-specific NASA DAAC. In addition, they provide suggestions on particular data products, services or tools that are deemed valuable to add to a DAAC’s portfolio. The LAADS DAAC UWG was empaneled in late 2018 with twelve members who represent atmospheric science, radiometric calibration, data and information systems, and science communications fields.

The LAADS DAAC UWG’s mission is to assess the LAADS DAAC’s data products, services and tools portfolios, their overall user community and user experience, and provide suggestions for near- and long-term improvements and evolution.
